There is only one school. The teachers are good, the instruction is good. But if you sign up - plan to stay for life! I had to stop going because of schedule conflicts - so I quit.... they billed me through my credit card for 10 months at $150 a month (I had 2 memberships).
Chris Ost was the owner - seemed like a nice guy, but he wouldnt help or stop billing me. Bank of america wouldnt stop him from charging me. The whole thing sucked and I will never go back - even though now I have the time to attend.
So, I am looking for another school around Stockton.
Thanks.

Re: Krav Maga in Stockton, CA
Wed, June 22, 2005 - 3:44 PMOuch! Had you signed up for one of those "Year" commitments or something? Did you have the option of suspending your membership for a month or two instead of cancelling? That's what Krav Maga SF does, although I haven't tried to use that option yet.
What was their side of the story? They must have had some reason (justified or not) for continuing to bill you?
Good luck in your search. If I hear of anything up there, I'll forward the info. -

Re: Krav Maga in Stockton, CA
Wed, June 22, 2005 - 9:29 PMSF is good about that. As soon as I sprained my knee and ankle, they put me on hold right away. One time they forgot to bill me and I told them about it. They gave me that month for free. But I go way back to the old school, so maybe I get treated a little differently. -
